Firefighters called to small fire in corridor at Ipswich Hospital

Firefighters were called to small fire at Ipswich Hospital this morning.

One fire crew attended the isolated fire in a rear corridor at the Heath Road site.

Firefighters were called at 10.46am and extinguished the fire inside 15 minutes.

A spokesman for Suffolk County Council said: “There was a small isolated fire at Ipswich Hospital in a rear corridor.

“One engine attended. We were called at 10.46. Fire was extinguished and STOP was called at 10.59.”
