SUFFOLK firefighters were today part of a team which fought a house fire and saved a Labrador dog in Cambridgeshire.

Crews yesterday went to Church Lane, Castle Camps, where a three-storey home was ablaze at 10.45pm.
The family escaped the fire but the house was badly damaged.
Fire crews from five fire engines and a turntable ladder vehicle were involved in the rescue.
