FIREFIGHTERS were called in to action today to tackle a car fire near Bury St Edmunds.A single hose reel was used to control flames took hold of a car parked outside St Mary's Church in Westley.

FIREFIGHTERS were called in to action today to tackle a car fire near Bury St Edmunds.

A single hose reel was used to control flames took hold of a car parked outside St Mary's Church in Westley.

The fire was reported to the fire service art about 4.45am and was under control within ten minutes.

The cause is being treated as suspicious.
