FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire at a thatched cottage this evening.
Four fire engines attended the incident in The Street, Thorndon, near Eye, at 6.17pm.
On arrival they found that the woodburner in the 15th Century cottage was on fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to help extinguish the blaze.
