FIREFIGHTERS have spent over four hours battling a blaze in a building in Norfolk.

The fire broke out in the roof beams of a home in West Church Street, Kenninghall, just after 3am today.

Nobody had to be rescued from the home and it is believed the people who live there are currently on holiday.

Crews from East Harling, Attleborough, Diss and Thetford were called to the blaze, along with the brigade's aerial ladder platform and a water carrier.

Firefighters were still on scene at 7.30am.
