FIREFIGHTERS have tackled several small blazes across the county this weekend.
At 4.20pm yesterday there was a heath fire in Downham Boulevard, Ravenswood. Two crews from Princes Street attended the scene, where they found 400sqm of gorse and undergrowth alight. The incident was over by 5pm.
At 3.05am there was a car on fire in Kent Road, Stowmarket and at 2.10am there was a car fire in Ixworth Road, Great Barton. Both were out within minutes.
There was also a tractor on fire in Leiston Road, Middleton, at 2.20pm. The incident was finished by 2.45pm.
