First lady of musicals announces gig

Theatre manager David Mansfield said: “We're very delighted that Elaine Paige will be coming to Ipswich next year - she epitomises musical theatre and her performance will feature many of the hit show tunes from the award winning productions she has stared in.

“In this special 40th Anniversary celebration Elaine Paige, the first Lady of musical theatre, revisits her award-winning roles as she recaptures her performances in the shows she made famous including Evita, Cats, Chess, Piaf and Sunset Boulevard during the journey through her career since 1968.”
