Police have surrounded a house in Toulouse as they continue their search for a gunman suspected of killing seven people in southern France.
Interior Minister, Claude Gueant, has said the 24-year-old Frenchman, from Toulouse, said he was a member of al-Qaeda and he was acting in revenge for Palestinian children.
Two officers were injured during the raised and the suspect’s brother is under arrest.
A manhunt was launched on Monday after four people were killed in a shooting at a Jewish school and three soldiers were killed last week.
