An open event giving free advice and screening tests for tinnitus will take place in Ipswich tomorrow as part of ‘Tea for Tinnitus’ month.
The open event will take place at the Bloom hearing specialists in Tacket Street from 9am-1pm on Wednesday, June 28, where people can come along and find out more about the condition and available treatments.
The ‘Tea for Tinnitus’ month aims to get people discussing the condition over a cup of tea, to make sure they are aware of what is available to help them.
Jason Searle, audiologist at Bloom, said: “Tinnitus affects people in very different ways. Some people find it moderately annoying with others finding it very troublesome.
“Following treatment, sufferers tend to cope better with their tinnitus, having significantly less impact on their day to day lives. We hope patients will come in and talk to us about tinnitus.”
Events were held in west Suffolk earlier this week.
