VISITORS flocked in their thousands to an idyllic estate as it hosted an annual fair which is fast becoming part of the country calendar.
Fair-goers basked in the perfect Bank Holiday weekend sunshine that greeted the first day of the Suffolk Game and Country Fair at Glemham Hall, Little Glemham, near Saxmundham>.
The two-day event, which took place yesterday and on Sunday proved so popular, there were traffic tailbacks on roads leading to Little Glemham.
Added attractions this year included a dramatic aerobatic display in the skies above Glemham Hall by the Microlease Aerobatic Team.
Traditional crafts and country pursuits were also on display, from falconry to bail tossing to lurcher racing, and there was even a chance to try archery and clay shooting.
Show organiser Malcolm Hall said: "It has been growing each year. The weather has been brilliant – it's the right sort of weather we need for this sort of thing. Everybody is happy."
