A FUNERAL has today celebrated the life of Reg Driver, stalwart of the Ipswich Royal British Legion.
Hundreds of mourners gathered at St Mary-Le-Tower Church in Ipswich to say goodbye to the 88-year-old.
During his life Mr Driver served as president, chairman, poppy appeal organiser, and parade organiser for the town's Royal British Legion.
He was also a keen member of the Conservative party and for many years a member of Ipswich council.
Mr Driver leaves his wife of sixty years, Peggy, and two grandchildren, Abby and Joe.
