Gallery: Coastal scenes prove popular with iWitness photographers

THE Suffolk coast was a popular place to be over the Bank Holiday weekend. Our iWitness reporters were there along with residents, daytrippers and holiday makers, and they had their faithful cameras to hand.

Beccie Biggs visited Felixstowe where canoeists and swimmers took the plunge in a series of races, and she also snapped this yacht sailing past a container ship leaving the docks as well as some familiar Felixstowe sights.

Meanwhile, Dave Goodwin and his wife took a walk along the Nacton Shore near Levington and shot this fallen tree.

He said: “It was cold and damp but a really nice walk. At times you could believe that you were on a deserted island.”

Our keen photographers shared their images by uploading them to iWitness - a user-led site that is simple and quick to use.
