Newborn lambs and spring-time church scenes with a scattering of brightly-coloured daffodils are both clear signs that Easter is on its way.
Next weekend will see children tucking into foil-wrapped chocolate left by the ever-generous Easter Bunny, while adults enjoy a rich simnel cake topped with a thick layer of nutty marzipan.
