Felixstowe held its traditional remembrance service at the War Memorial on the seafront attended by members of the Royal British Legion and of uniformed organisations based in the town.
Large crowds lined the promenade in the cold late autumn sunshine as the salute was taken by mayor Jan Garfield outside the Town Hall.
This year Felixstowe was also host to a party from its twin town of Wesel in Germany whose members visited the town ceremony in the afternoon where a few German victims of the world wars are buried.
