As we continue our journey we approach the end of the 1980’s and bring you these images.
This week we bring you images of people splashing around at Broomhill Pool in May 1989, the Felixstowe Carnival King and Queen, St Margaret’s School pupils and Northgate Short Mat Bowls Club’s annual prize dinner. Are you in any of the pictures?
Along with these we also found images of youngsters taking part in the YMCA Playscheme in June 1989, members of the Mencap darts league handing over an ambulance to the Mencap Society in May 1989 and pupils from Kesgrave School cleaning up gardens. Do these events spark memories?
