RUSH hour drivers faced delays in Ipswich today after fears a gas cylinder had exploded.
Police and firefighters were called to Bourne Hill at around 8.30am after a man reported that a gas cylinder has exploded in his van.
On arrival, emergency teams found the cylinder had decompressed, not exploded.
Firefighters returned to their stations while police officers tried to ease traffic congestion.
