The teenager was walking along Harris Avenue, Lowestoft, at about 8.40am on Monday when a black car - which may have been a Peugeot 207 or similar - pulled up and a man got out of the car and asked her to get into the vehicle.
The offender - described as white, in his mid 20s to mid 30s, wearing black jeans and a black hooded top with a Nike emblem on - took her by the wrist but she was able to get away and run off.
