TICKETS are going well for a women-only night in aid of the Vicky Hall memorial appeal – but there are still some available.

The Ultimate Fantasy, the boys who dare to bare, will be the stars of the show in a performance not for the faint-hearted . . . and certainly not for men.

It will be just the lads and the ladies – the popular male striptease troupe on stage and the females in the audience – at the Trimley Sports and Social Club on March 7.

Events on the night will include an entrance ticket draw and a raffle and businesses around the area have been incredibly generous.

One major prize is the chance to pretend to be a superstar for the day with the use of your very own stretch limo.

Ipswich-based company PCK Limos have donated the prize of the free use of the sleek car, which draws admiring and curious glances wherever it goes in the area, for an hour with the option to purchase extra time.

"Local companies have been brilliant in the way they have supported us again and we cannot thank them enough for the way they are always so keen to help such good causes," said organiser Many Dales.

"We have a great range of prizes and we hope that the evening will give us the chance to raise a really good sum."

Mandy said it would be the third show the Ultimate Fantasy had presented in aid of the memorial appeal, and will also be their last for the cause as they had such a busy programme of commitments across the country.

"The shows have been very well supported and, as this is the last one we are doing, we hope this one will be, too," said Mandy, who organises the events with friend and work colleague Maureen Mayhew,

"It will be a chance for women to see them in the Felixstowe area one more time and the evening is sure to be excellent entertainment and great fun."

Many of the 200 tickets have been sold but there will be some available on the door at the club in High Road, Trimley St Martin, on the night.

Tickets are £10 each and are available in advance from the sports and social club and from Trimley Post Office, High Road.

Other draw prizes on the night include a trip with Scandinavian Seaways, a portable TV, a microwave, music centre, champagne, gym memberships, and lots of vouchers for different stores and services.

Most of the funds from the night will go towards the appeal for a memorial to murdered schoolgirl Vicky Hall, spearheaded by The Evening Star, and there will also be donations made to Women Against Domestic Violence, and breast cancer care charity Coping with Breast Cancer.

n People can support the Evening Star appeal for Vicky by sending donations. Cheques should be made payable to the Vicky Hall Memorial Fund and sent to Geraldine Thompson, editor's secretary, Evening Star, Press House, 30 Lower Brook Street, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 1AN.
