JUST when you thought the chance to rock was about to pass you by it has been announced that more tickets for Whitesnake's Ipswich date have gone on sale.

The concert on May 10 had been billed as sold out but another 200 tickets were released for sale today meaning those who thought they had missed the opportunity to catch this gig still have a chance to book their seat.

The concert at the Regent is a warm-up gig for their forthcoming UK tour and promises to be a rare opportunity to see the band in venue which is small and intimate in comparison to the country's biggest arenas which the band will go on to play.

The tour is Whitesnake's first live outing for six years and has come together to celebrate the band's 25th anniversary.

Founder member David Coverdale remains as the group's lead vocalist and he is joined by an exciting new line band line-up with Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach on guitars, Timothy Drury on keyboards, Marco Mendoza on bass and Tommy Aldridge on drums.

This new tour is accompanied by a Best Of album featuring songs from the band's 25-year history. Many of these songs will also find their place on the set list at their forthcoming Ipswich gig, including Here I Go Again, Walking In The Shadow Of The Blues, Still Of The Night and Ain't Not Love In The Heart Of The City.

n Tickets for Whitesnake's warm up gig at Ipswich Regent on May 10 cost £27.50 and are available at the Central Box Office, Princes Street, Ipswich, or by calling 01473 433100.
