FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a fire in the undergrowth on Rushmere Heath this afternoon.One crew was sent to deal with the blaze, which damaged an area of around 20 sq metres of gorse near the 14th tee on the golf course.
FIREFIGHTERS dealt with a fire in the undergrowth on Rushmere Heath this afternoon.
One crew was sent to deal with the blaze, which damaged an area of around 20 sq metres of gorse near the 14th tee on the golf course.
The fire was spotted just before 3pm and was out by 3.15pm.
Three crews also attended a car on fire on the A12 near Benacre Hall at Wrentham.
Police said the occupants of the car got out of the vehicle safely and were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
