WHAT better way to end a month of celebration than with the sounds of a gospel choir.

Black History month is drawing to a close but before it takes its final breath for another year Power Praise 111 will be bringing the dynamic sounds of gospel to Suffolk.

This successful gospel series is returning tonight at the International Elim Church in Ipswich featuring the Visual Ministries Choir.

Visual Ministries founder Junior Spence said they were looking forward to playing their part in the celebration.

"Gospel music is a big part of Black History Month. It is music which is sung from the heart and soul and spreads important messages of peace, love and hope – all messages important in the celebration of diversity.

"The Visual Ministry Choir is honoured to be a part of this important event," he said.

Senior Pastor, at the Elim International Church, Stephen Huntly, said the gospel evenings were always a great success.

"This will be the third year that Black History Month has ended with Visual Ministries in our church. They are a very accomplished choir from South London and it is always a lively evening.

"The church is always full and people get involved and make it a great end to the month."

Black History Month has become a symbol of inclusion and celebration. Organised by the Nia project it aimed to bring people and cultures together to experience a wider.

Visual Ministry will be at the Elim International Church tonight from 7.30pm.
