Hadleigh Carnival plans for 2002
PLANS are already under way for this year's Hadleigh carnival following the successful revival of the event last year.The dates have been fixed for a week of activities, starting on Sunday, July 7, with a bed race and ending on Saturday, July 13, with the traditional carnival parade and entertainments.

The dates have been fixed for a week of activities, starting on Sunday, July 7, with a bed race and ending on Saturday, July 13, with the traditional carnival parade and entertainments.
Now the search is on for a carnival queen.
Organisers are keen to hear from anyone interested, who must be aged 16-plus and live in Hadleigh.

The next carnival meeting will be on Tuesday, January 15, at 8pm in the George Hotel, High Street.

Anyone willing to volunteer to help with carnival organisation is welcome to attend.
