Hundreds of pounds have been stolen from a hairdressers in an overnight burglary.
The Hair Lounge in High Street was broken into between 9pm on Wednesday and 9am the following morning.
A police spokesman said the amount stolen had been “under £500” and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
She added: “An offender has entered the shop, damaged a safe and stolen an amount of cash from within.”
