Forecasters have said that this year’s Suffolk Show is set to be blessed with glorious summer sunshine instead of the traditional downpours.
The show, which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, is due to remain dry on both days, with temperatures in the low 20Cs expected to beat down on the thousands making the journey to Trinity Park.
Phil Garner, forecaster at Weatherquest said: “We have got two lovely days where it is really looking fine.
“Both are looking like dry days with patchy cloud and a fair amount of sunshine.
He added: “It’s definitely looking like it will remain dry.”
Temperatures on Wednesday are due to peak at around 21C (69F), while Thursday will be slightly warmer with temperatures up to 23C (73F).
The latest forecast means it is set to be warmer than last year’s event, where temperatures were around 16C (60F).
Police have issued travel advice in the run-up to the two-day event, with a warning for heavy traffic in the area.
