FIREFIGHTERS were called twice within a few hours to deal with heath fires at Rushmere.
One crew dealt with around 80 square metres of heathland ablaze about 7.30pm last night, bringing it under control in about 15 minutes.
Another crew was then called to the heath on the edge of Ipswich about 9.20pm to put out 30 sq m of gorse.
A Suffolk fire service spokesman said the second incident was being treated as suspicious.
