Firefighters have extinguished a large car fire that broke out on the A14 at the Whitehouse Interchange.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway on the outskirts of Ipswich just after 6.20pm to reports of a people carrier alight.
A police spokesman said no one had been injured during the blaze.
Three fire crews, one from Ipswich Princes Street, one from Needham Market and another from Stowmarket, worked to put out the flames by 6.50pm.
There are reports of long delays in the area as traffic is being diverted along the exit slip road, around the roundabout and back on via the entry slip road.
