A TEENAGER was today charged with a string of driving offences by police investigating a hit and run crash which resulted in the death of an Ipswich woman.

Eighteen-year-old Kyler Jackson of Blake Road, Ipswich has been charged with careless driving, not having a licence, driving without insurance, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident.
He has been bailed to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court on May 2.
Jackson was arrested at the Center Parcs holiday village in Elveden at 9.15pm on March 26 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
His arrest followed investigations into a fatal fail to stop road traffic collision, which occurred at about 8.45am on March 23 in Stoke Park Drive, Ipswich.
Susan Garnham, 61, of Hexham Road, died of the injuries she sustained shortly after arriving at Ipswich hospital.

A 21-year-old Ipswich man, arrested on March 26 on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, is still on police bail. He is due to return to Ipswich police station at 8pm on May 6, pending further enquiries.
