A HADLEIGH man remains in a critically ill condition in hospital after being the victim of a hit and run in the town.

Chris Corder, 42, was delivering church magazines in Benton Street, Hadleigh at 12.50pm on Sunday, September 27, when he was hit by a black Jaguar XJ6.

The driver, who is still being hunted by police, drove off at speed leaving Mr Corder with serious head injuries as well as multiple fractures to his body.

He was flown to the Royal London Hospital where he remains in a coma.
