COMMUNITY hospitals in east Suffolk received the final nail in their coffin after health bosses voted unanimously to close them.The Bartlet in Felixstowe and Hartismere Hospital in Eye will closed by the end of the summer, and a string of mental health services will also be lost.

Members of the Suffolk East Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) sealed the fate of the services at a tense meeting today, after months of uncertainty.
