IPSWICH Hospital is urging people to reconsider making evening visits to patients tonight.
With more snow reported later and roads expected to freeze, people are encouraged to only venture out if necessary.
Jan Rowsell, spokeswoman for Ipswich Hospital, said: “We are urging visitors who are coming to the evening visiting times (7pm to 8pm) to think very carefully about it.”
She added that the latest report is that the roads are going to freeze and although the hospital site has been cleared, with tough conditions on the way, they may struggle to cope if there is an influx of visitors.
