SEARCH teams made the gruesome discovery of a decomposed torso on a Suffolk beach – just hours after finding a rotting human leg.

Police officers searched the coastline at Aldeburgh today and found part of the torso two and a half-miles south of where the limb was discovered by a fisherman this morning.

The man came across the lower leg while fishing on the beach at Slaughden Quay at 7.30 am.

Pathologists at James Paget Hospital in Gorleston will examine the body parts.
