MORE than 400 people filled the Corn Exchange to pamper themselves on a night dedicated to indulgence.
Mayor, Penny Breakwell, hosted the Indulgence Evening with all money raised going to the Mayor's charity fund.
The fund consists of three charities - Amnesty International (Ipswich), the Ipswich Wildlife Group and the East Anglian Children's Hospices - Ipswich.
Although the exact amount raised has not yet been collated, the Mayor is confident it will be substantial.
She said: "I'm absolutely delighted with the evening and I know we will have swelled the coffers of the three charities."
"The night was a great success with 400 plus visitors coming in through the doors," she added.
"The Mayor-elect was there taking notes so hopefully this event will take place again in the future."
