SEARCH and Rescue teams from RAF Wattisham have this evening airlifted an injured man from an oil rig in the North Sea to hospital.
The Sea King helicopter was called to the rig, about 50 miles north of Cromer, Norfolk, arriving on the scene at about 7.05pm.
A man, who had sustained chest injuries, was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital for treatment, touching down at the hospital at about 8.30pm.
