A WOMAN walking the Stour Valley Path was airlifted to hospital today after injuring herself in an area with no road access.
The East of England Ambulance Service was called to Fen Bridge, near Flatford Mill at around 3.15pm.
The woman, who had been out walking with her husband, fell on her right ankle.
She was taken to Colchester General Hospital where she was due to have an x-ray to assess her injuries, which are not thought to be serious.
