EIGHT Rotarians and their wives from Ipswich Massachusetts will be visiting Rotarians from Ipswich East for a week from July 8.

The American party is coming to the area as part of the international link between to the two Rotary clubs, which has been in existence now for over 20 years.

The Americans have decided to make a donation of $1,000 to the Genesis project in Wright Road, Ipswich and will be visiting the workshop to make the presentation on July 9.

Bill Robinson, president of the Ipswich East Club said "We have been very closely involved in the work of Genesis since they were first set up and we were delighted that our American friends decide to make such a generous donation during their visit."

"The American donation will be used to buy a special bed which will allow the essential treatment, such as aromatherapy and massage, to be undertaken for people who attend and work at the centre".

After the presentation the American party will be given the chance to tour the Genesis workshops to see the type of work that is taking place.
