A memorial stone in memory of all those locally who served in Korea from 1950-53 has been unveiled at the Millennium Cemetery in Ipswich.
The Ipswich branch of the British Korean Veterans Association were joined by an attache from the Korean Embassy in London, alongside members and friends of branch members.
The new stone features the names and a simple crest marking the Korean War, and has been installed in a dedicated memorial garden at the cemetery.
A spokesman from the Ipswich branch of the British Korean Veterans Association said: “The branch is most grateful to Ipswich Borough Council which gave its support and much help with this project.
“It is very necessary to us because we are so few in numbers now.
“The Korean War has bee over 60 years ago – many are now in their 80s – so it is important to remember their efforts.”
