Ipswich Buses have offered free transport to and from job and work experience interviews for students working with Inspire Suffolk in the town.
The bus company, which operates in Ipswich and the surrounding villages, will be providing free bus passes to students taking part in Inspire Suffolk’s personal development courses in the town.
Inspire Suffolk supports young people across Suffolk and North Essex to overcome challenges that they are facing on to a positive future in employment or further training.
Terry Baxter, Chief Executive of Inspire Suffolk, said: “We are very grateful for the support of Ipswich Buses to our learners.
“The bus passes will provide an easy way for many young people to get to Inspire Suffolk’s courses in Ipswich and remove the anxieties which surround young people having to pay for travel at a time when finance can be a barrier to participation.”
