Fire fighters were called to an Asda store in Ipswich this afternoon to put out a deep fat fryer fire.
Crews from Ipswich East and Princes Street arrived at the store on Goddard Road at 4.28pm to find a fire in the kitchen of the cafe.
Asda staff had used a fire blanket to extinguish the fire while customers were evacuated from the store.
Crews also used a foam extinguisher and isolated the kitchen area extraction unit and the fire was reported under control at 5.23pm
An ambulance was called for one person who was suffering from light smoke inhalation.
