Crystal Main, Strictly Come Dancing show dancer and Lait Dancing expert will be one of five judges on the talent show which kicks off this Saturday at the Regent Theatre, she said: “It is very exciting and it will be a new experience.

“I cannot wait to give my opinions. I am looking for someone who stands up and holds the stage as their own.”

Jim said: “This is my second year as a judge. If it’s as good as last year, it will be a brilliant evening. Organisers, Lorraine Arthur and Kevin Smith said ticket sales are going well and there is still a chance to get yours.

Now in its third year, the event, run by the Ipswich Community Safety Partnership and supported by The Evening Star, has worked with Best Bar None accredited premises in Ipswich to uncover the highest quality talent.

Tickets are on sale now from the Regent box office on 01473 433100.
