An Ipswich man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and attempted burglary after two properties were broken in to, police have said.

The 29-year-old man was arrested yesterday after two properties were entered in Bell Close, Ipswich, on November 11.

The man was interviewed at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre by officers on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a property.

He was bailed to return on January 3, 2014.

The arrest comes during the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) national week focusing on burglary and handling.
