Man in his 20s arrested in connection with police incident at Sailmakers in Ipswich

Police have arrested a man in connection with an incident that took place at Sailmakers shopping centre in Ipswich this morning.
Officers were sent to reports a man was making threats to staff and customers at McColl’s at about 7.30am today.
Witnesses reported seeing two police cars outside.
A police spokesman said officers arrested a man in his 20s, from Ipswich, on suspicion of public order offences in connection with the incident.
He was taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
