Warning given to moped rider who cut across pathway

A warning was given to a young moped rider spotted cutting across a pathway.

Officers from Ipswich Central police Tweeted on Monday (August 6) to say they had issued a Section 59 warning notice to the youth after “officers saw him the previous day cutting across the pathway from Wilberforce Street onto Bramford Road in Ipswich on his moped”.

Section 59 notices give police power to seize vehicles for careless driving.
