The Trianon Music Group is preparing for three major concerts to celebrate its 60th anniversary next year,
The music group, which began as a fledgling orchestra in 1959, is also celebrating the 60th year its artistic director Professor Chris Green has been at the helm.
He was one of three founders of the group, which was established while the trio were still at school.
The celebrations will include two performances at Ipswich Corn Exchange, on January 12 and April 27, as well as a big birthday concert at Snape Maltings on September 14.
The music group has commissioned five new works to be performed during the year, including a new arrangement of the music from The Wizard of Oz and a medley of Academy Award winning scores from the six decades the group has been together.
