The Open Air Cinema will be returning to Ipswich’s Christchurch Park this summer with three movies on offer to treat film fans.
Ipswich Borough Council, in association with Empire Cinemas, today announced that Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot and the Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman are two of the movies which will be shown at the event on June 30.
The former will start at 1.30pm, and the latter will be the evening offering at 7.30pm - with gates opening for the screenings at 12.30pm and 6.30pm respectively.
Tickets will go on sale for the two movies on Thursday at 10am and details about the children’s film in the morning will be released in the next couple of weeks.
Tickets are £8.50 per film for adults, £5 for children and £25 for families.
The events are a fixture on the town’s summer calendar, with hundreds bringing their picnic blankets to enjoy the sunshine in front of the big screen every year.
