An appeal has been made to the owner of a red and yellow parrot after it crashed into a window in the Mansbrook Boulevard area of Ravenswood and seems to be injured.
Debbie Keys saw the bird fly into the window at 12pm this afternoon but said it had been spotted wandering the area since 8am.
The parrot has a red head, long beige tail and yellow body and Mrs Keys described it as “quite a beauty.”
“Everyone is worried that he will get hurt, or eaten”, she said.
“I haven’t seen him fly since he flew into the window, it would be nice if the owners could be found and traced as he has obviously escaped from somewhere.”
The parrot was still in the Ravenswood area at 5pm this evening.
An RSPCA spokesperson said they urged anyone with any information about the parrot and where it has come from to contact them on 03001 234999 or contact Debbie Keys on 07771884414.
