Ipswich: Purse stolen from shopper which contained more than £100 in cash and also bank cards

Police are appealing for information after a woman’s purse was stolen while she was shopping in Ipswich.

The woman was in Bon Marche in Westgate Street on Saturday at about 3.30pm when someone reached into her bag and stole her purse – which contained more than £100 in cash and several bank cards.

The purse is described as being long and of a tan colour.

Anyone with information or who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area at the time should contact Pc Scott-Lee on 101 quoting IC/14/3948 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
