Two men are on police bail today after a 52-year-old was stabbed on the outskirts of Ipswich town centre.
Three males were originally arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred in the area of Stoke Bridge in Bridge Street at around 10.20am last Friday.
The injured man sustained a puncture wound to his forearm which police said caused swelling and bruising.
It is believed a screwdriver may have been used to inflict the injury.
One of the suspects, a 41-year-old held on suspicion of affray, was released without charge.
However a 32-year-old Ipswich man arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, and a 52-year-old detained on suspicion of criminal damage were released on bail until September 17 pending further enquiries.
