Jock's a hit for charity
EVENING Star cartoonist Jock Davies drew in a large crowd at the Ipswich Caribbean Club to raise cash for charity.Jock, accompanied by singing star The Hatman, performed two half-an-hour sets during an evening in aid of The Ormiston Charity.

The Woodbridge Road venue was near capacity as The Hatman took to the stage to perform some excellent cover versions.
He started with David Gray's Babylon, before taking a step back in time with Bob Dylan and Kinks covers.
Crowd favourites Like A Rolling Stone and Lay Lady Lay went down a storm as money was collected around the crowd.
Meanwhile, talented Jock went round the crowd taking requests for cartoons and charging punters a small fee for his witty sketches.

Jock, well known to local lovers of live music as the voice of rhythm and blues band Under The Bridge, also took to the stage with his tribute to singer Joe Cocker as "Go Jocker".
Last night's event, hosted by Marion Sudds, was arranged in association with The Evening Star, Krullind Bookmakers and Suffolk County Council.
It aimed to raise more than £1,000 for The Ormiston Charity, one of Suffolk's leading children's charities.
