IPSWICH: Superstar songstress Katie Melua is coming to the town, it can be revealed today.
Famed for her album Call Off The Search and hit song The Closest Thing To Crazy, Melua will take to the stage at the Ipswich Regent Theatre as part of her European tour.
The popular singer - who is destined for Ipswich on December 9 - is also set to release her fourth album later this year.
The tour, which will begin in France on October, will see the young ballad singer perform across the continent.
In 2009, Melua, 24, spent most of her time in America where she embarked on an acoustic tour performing with just her guitar and piano.
Tickets for the event, which will be priced at �32.50 and �30, will go on sale on Friday.
