A WOMAN is recovering today after receiving minor burns to her hands during a kitchen fire in Alan Road, Ipswich. Two fire crews from the Princes Street station were called to the house shortly before 8pm yesterday.
A WOMAN is recovering today after receiving minor burns to her hands during a kitchen fire in Alan Road, Ipswich.
Two fire crews from the Princes Street station were called to the house shortly before 8pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue said two breathing apparatus and a water fog were used to bring the fire under control. The spokesman said the woman also suffered smoke inhalation but was not taken to hospital. The fire was put out at 8.20pm.
